Holly McGowen was doing public relations for the Red Hawks, but had a
business plan for her own bakery and fashion boots for ladies in Redbud
Plaza. “The fun part was naming the cupcakes,” she said. They are all
Western-inspired such as the Giddy up. But the Tumbleweed is leading the
pack. The business opened in early fall of 2011 and they are doing mini
pies, too, that are just enough for one person.
