Nature inspires work in a variety of painted styles for exhibition

The eclectic collection of artwork represents the diversity of nature, something Belt said everyone should be interested in.

"All of us live in nature, and if we haven't been aware of nature for many years, we certainly have in 2010," she said.

With an opening reception from 6-10 p.m. Friday, the exhibit is on display through Aug. 27. The gallery's hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sunday.
