On Jan. 15, a mystery shopper successfully pulled off a crab-leg heist.

Officials estimated that $1,500 worth of crab legs and steak were stolen from a Homeland grocery store on N. Bryant.

According to police, the shoplifter was a Hispanic or American Indian man wearing jeans, a gray jacket and a ball cap.

Unnoticed
by employees and customers, the suspect evidently strolled through the
aisles with a cart loaded with various meat products and rolled it right
out the front door — twice.

After getting away with the first two thefts, the hungry outlaw allegedly attempted it a third time but was scared off.

He
remains at large, his identity unknown, although it’s safe to assume
investigators have ruled out vegetarians, those with shellfish allergies
and Jewish people who keep kosher.
