The parade starts at The Depot, 200 S. Jones Avenue, travels north to Main Street, follows Main to S. Crawford, turns south to E. Comanche, returns to Jones Avenue and loops around the course a second time.
Good times will roll again as the Norman Mardi Gras Parade returns after a two year absence. The 2023 theme is “Phoenix Rising.” This celebration of arts and community is Oklahoma's only Mardi Gras parade. It reflects Norman’s artistic and often quirky character. Expect whacky shenanigans, costumed canines, festive music, and “Unidentified Rolling Objects.” The parade has grown since it began in 1994, with crowds as large as 6,000 attending, depending on weather.
