Good times will roll again as the Norman Mardi Gras Parade returns after a two year absence. The 2023 theme is “Phoenix Rising.” This celebration of arts and community is Oklahoma's only Mardi Gras parade. It reflects Norman’s artistic and often quirky character. Expect whacky shenanigans, costumed canines, festive music, and “Unidentified Rolling Objects.” The parade has grown since it began in 1994, with crowds as large as 6,000 attending, depending on weather. Email normanmardigrasparade@gmail.com for information or pick up forms at OSC-Press, 315 E. Main Street.
