Re: “Center staged

This will be very nice and arguably the nicest museum in the state of Oklahoma when fully built out as envisioned.

Re: “Oklahoma Gazette/ parts ways with Lance West

Too too bad. Lance is a great asset to any organization. The Gazette lost an opportunity to improve

Re: “Free speech?

So its for the citizens of OKC to hear but their holding it in the middle of the day during working hours. And we won't get to hear what is said until a few weeks later? Transparency rocks!

Re: “Hero’s honor

As a long time resident of south OKC I have waited a long time for improvements to the area. The downtown and the north area of OKC has been the one that has received the most improvements and we have continued to be stepchildren without the benefits as the rest of OKC. I hope to see more investments in our community.

Re: “Oklahoma Gazette/ parts ways with Lance West

Even though this deal about Lance West isn't a good thing, Im glad that Lances disappearance isn't due to a drastic health issue. I was hoping he hadn't developed early onset Alzheimers, and I have missed his ads about the Alzheimers Associations activities... Wishing him the best of luck...

Re: “COVER: Great destinations

I have great appreciation for how the history of OKC is honored in this publication, the best newspaper OKC has truly ever had, and I mean that as someone who later became a newspaper career person and am also married to one. I am the granddaughter of J. B. Klein and it is really something to see him mentioned in 2018, more than 90 years after his death. Quite a lot of the foundry's iron work remains, such as the gates and sconces at the old Central School on Robinson that my father and later I attended. OKC was built at a time when beautiful buildings in the U.S. were expected and erected. I love that the old neighborhoods are getting renewed attention.

Shady property owners; Illegal lease agreements; Illegal fees; Harassment.

Re: “Addressing needs

Protect older people as well. A lot of companies these days are firing people 40 or older. It's more difficult for older people to find work. Age discrimination is rampant. People lose their jobs and end up on the street. I see a lot of middle-aged homeless men on the streets of Oklahoma City.

Re: “Addressing needs

We need to fix the "overall situation" so people aren't shut out and left for dead.

Re: “Addressing needs

Displace: force (someone) to leave their home, typically because of war, persecution, or natural disaster.

Re: “Addressing needs

High rent. High tuition. Houston, we have a problem.

Re: “Addressing needs

What even exacerbates the problem is when workers (STUDENTS) are shed by companies and replaced by artificial intelligence. People are left with nothing. How do they work their way up in a fair amount of time? "Safety net jobs" aren't being created quick enough or aren't being created at all. We're left with high-paying rocket science jobs and the poor are being killed off in the transition to utopia.

Re: “Addressing needs

Lack of education is the core of the problem. This country isn't being realistic about how it educates people.
