Re: “Bar work

Man, Gazette!!

I really wish you would've checked a few sources before you printed this.
The last paragraph is completely fabricated, and Mr. Pickering has never been paid for his services. Actually, there are multiple people who came together to help Lee Morris with his sudden and rushed purchase that have never been compensated for their hard work.
Mister Morris never "sold his shares" to any restaurant in Oklahoma City. Ever.
I really wish you would have done a bit of fact checking before you decided to waste your talent and ink to print.

Re: “Neighborhood legacy

Thanks a lot for your thorough article , we at Rays appreciate your honest review and we will try to better ourselves in every possible way . One thing need to be mentioned though : We do not use pre packaged taco shells. We get tortilla and fry it in the kitchen by order. We work on the shape to look good and you probably thought its so perfect that it couldnt be fresh!

Re: “Cover: What we ate in '68

I miss all these wonderful places to go out and eat, but now most are gone or moved north to Edmond. I can't afford the gas just to find a nice place to eat. I don't have the money I use to spend eating out. Wish I had that back. No, my part of town once a very busy place with cafeterias, Mexican, and buffet with the best and finest cooking ever. OKC is a 1 Star restaurant experience compared to what we no longer have or the money to enjoy my favorite past time with good food.

Re: “Pet Gazette: Home to roost

This is the same Laurie Anderson who had a lot of pets die or disappear under mysterious circumstances. I wouldn't entrust her to take care of a simulated pet on a computer screen. PETA needs to take a look at her "rescue" organization and see just how those animals are being cared for.

Re: “Oklahoma Gazette/OKCTalk.com parts ways with Lance West

Even though this deal about Lance West isn't a good thing, Im glad that Lances disappearance isn't due to a drastic health issue. I was hoping he hadn't developed early onset Alzheimers, and I have missed his ads about the Alzheimers Associations activities... Wishing him the best of luck...

$11 is going to be the ticket of death, nobody wants to pay a cover for bad local bands.

Re: “Jimmy's Round-Up Cafe

Their food is so addictive. Once you go, might as well get ready to set a side money to go atleast once a week for then on. Or you'll end up in a rehabilitation facility. Lol

Re: “European delight

I wasn't there on the first day they opened, but it's now I try to stop in at least twice a week! The food is as good as it looks! Anything you select will be the best version of it you will have ever experienced! My favorite line when I tell people about Ganache is 'Every day you wait is a day you will regret.'

Re: “Big green

Hmm ... I thought it wasn't starting until 'July' (maybe I misread-or-misremembered 'June'). My neighborhood got the Big Green bins in April (with a letter saying it wasn't starting until later), and people put their big greens out with/instead-of Little Blue. Probably doesn't get picked up yet, does it?
