Smag 7: Dinner and a drink

Hollie’s Flatiron Steakhouse
1199 S. Service Road, Moore
799-0300

Hollie’s
is selling sirloin, an 8-ounce fillet and a 20-ounce, bone-in ribeye
done on a flat iron grill. Pretty popular right now is its Purple
Perfect Margarita, featuring Chambord. Don’t think your only choice is
beef! Try tasty oven-roasted chicken, fish, pork chops or St. Louis
ribs. No matter what ends up on your plate, enjoy one of the 24 wines by
the glass.

The Man Cave
1522 W. Lindsey, Norman
310-6344

Come
in for the Boulevard and Shocktop brews on tap. Stay for dinner. You’d
be remiss to leave without trying one of the 37 different wing sauces —
honey coconut, Sooner and Thunder or spicy garlic Parmesan, to name a
few. It wouldn’t be a true man cave without nachos, quesadillas or good
burgers, so if you don’t fill up on wings, try one. Don’t feel too
guilty about the smorgasbord; everything is baked.

Shorty Small’s
2037 S. Meridian
947-0779

A
relocation that opened Dec. 15, it is wasting no time making a name for
itself, featuring the Sadie’s Breath cocktail. You’ll need some
sustenance, so opt for the pulled pork sandwiches, blackened chicken
salad sandwich or honey mustard chicken club. You might even consider
splitting the sizable chicken-fried steak, which comes with mashed
potatoes and green beans. On the lighter side are daily soup and salad
specials.
