After a long day wandering the state fair, we were craving a glass of wine and Put A Cork In It Winery was located close. Terri greeted us with a smile and a wonderful selection of wine. We like drier wines and have found that most Oklahoma wineries cater to sweeter tastes but we were not disappointed by the wine selection here. We did a tasting (we just had to sample the winning wine from the state fair competition) and each of us chose our favorites to have a glass along with the delicious cheese plate they offer. We could have moved to a table at that point but Terri was such a pleasant conversationalist that we stayed at the bar. Honestly, the wine was so good, we purchased several bottles to take home. The cork didnt stay in the bottles very long.

Conveniently close, we enjoy taking a crossword puzzle to work while we sit on the patio and drink wine. The staff is always friendly and the wine is excellent. Im especially impressed by their Oklahoma grown varietals.
Their wedding venue can be seen from the patio and is lovely. Although Ive never dined there, the menu looks impressively upscale.
