Air up the tires for Bike to Work Day

Haven't hit the pavement on two wheels lately? Dust off your bike and air up those tires, because it's time to put the pedal to the asphalt. Bike to Work Day is set for May 21 in seven metro-area cities.

Oklahoma City, Norman, Edmond, Moore, Midwest City, Yukon and Guthrie each will sponsor a group ride and end-of-ride ceremony. The Association of Central Oklahoma Governments is coordinating the event in conjunction with the participating cities.

Bike to Work Day 2010 is part of a national campaign promoting the efficiency and healthiness of riding bicycles for more than just recreation. Complete details, including routes and event schedules, can be found at www.BikeDayOK.com.
