Norman Music Festival is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in April, and with the announcement of 2017's headliners, the festivities are already off to an exciting start.

In a release today, Norman Music Fest 10 (NMFX) announced San Francisco garage rock band Thee Oh Sees and Washington, D.C. rapper and producer Oddisee will headline the three-day music festival slated April 27-29 along Main Street in downtown Norman.

Thee Oh Sees will make its first visit to Oklahoma in nearly five years when they take to the Main Stage that weekend. The band debuted its 17th album A Weird Exits in August and plans to release its companion album, An Odd Entrances, before the end of the year.

Oddisee, known for incorporating jazz sounds and live instrumentation into his rap, will be joined by backing band Good Compny for his NMFX set. His instrumental album The Odd Tape was released earlier this year. The 2015 studio album The Good Fight was released to critical acclaim.

Alternative country performer Israel Nash headlines the Depot Stage. Other acts announced today by festival organizers include Low Cut Connie, GGOOLLDD, DEERPEOPLE, Lincka and The Daddyo's. More will be announced in coming months.

Attendance at the free festival has grown each year, and organizers said last year's lineup drew the highest crowd in event history, with attendance estimated at 100,000.

Bands interested in performing at NMFX have until midnight Dec. 15 to apply, the release said. Applications can be filled out at normanmusicfestival.com/apply
