This annual gathering is open to all people throughout the metro. Co-sponsored by Mayflower Congregational UCC, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, First Unitarian Church of Oklahoma City, and Temple B'nai Israel, participants engage in prayers and songs of gratitude, multi-faith fellowship, and an offering to benefit Doctors Without Borders and the American Red Cross. The keynote address, "George Washington’s Thanksgiving: Faith and Freedom in Early America" by Dr. Andrew Porwancher, Ph.D., Wick Cary Associate Professor, University of Oklahoma Department of Classics and Letters.
