Artist of the Quarantine: Jerry Bennett

"I'm a full-time freelance artist focusing on comics, with the goal of being a graphic novelist. Currently drawing Glamorella's Daughter with Charles J. Martin (@literatipress) while writing a few graphic novels," Jerry Bennett said. "I'm constantly inspired by OKC and its thriving growing art community, and it's amazing to work alongside them, most recently getting to design/create the 2020 Paseo Arts Festival poster art.

"Being a full-time artist, and having the huge blessing of having a wife who also works from home, the quarantine was made a ton more manageable, and with the support of so many, we have been able to sustain our living and able to continue work when many could consider my field a nonessential, though I feel art is completely essential in so many ways to our society's mental health and stability."
