Chicken-Fried News: Bad news

Starting next year, Oklahoma driver’s licenses can’t be used as valid ID when you’re trying to get through security checkpoints in federal buildings. That’s bad.

What’s worse is that as of 2016, they won’t be valid at Transportation Security Administration checkpoints, including airports, either.

Why? Because our state leadership has refused to comply with federal requirements that would make driver’s licenses more secure.
