OKLAHOMA'S INTERNATIONAL BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

Downtown Guthrie
The Oklahoma International Bluegrass Festival runs Oct. 1-3, in downtown Guthrie, and is one of the largest bluegrass festivals in the state.
Artists this year include the Mark O'Connor Appalachian Waltz Trio, Chris Jones & Night Drivers, the Gibson Brothers, Richard Smith of England and the Alan Munde Gazette, among others.
Other events include a golf tournament, a scholarship auction, musical workshops and open-mic events.
Bands from around the world will be featured throughout the day.
PUMPKIN PALOOZA
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Oct. 3
Courthouse Square, Hobart
The Pumpkin Palooza features competitive events with pumpkins, including a pumpkin-rolling contest, a pumpkin-stacking contest, pumpkin bowling, a decorating contest, a largest pumpkin competition and a pumpkin-chunkin' contest.
