Review: This is the strain Fire Leaf used to double-distill their Cannabis Cup-winning concentrate for the hybrid category, and I was able to get my hands on some of the last remaining raw flower. The look of the buds themselves, along with the strong sweet note, told me that this one was going to be enjoyable. The smoke was also sweet and strong, but not harsh. The effects came on intensely and made me feel extremely high for the first half hour or so after finishing the bowl but were not unpleasantly intense. This is another one of those strains that has become a recent favorite in other states, and it is easy to see why. The original genetics are a triple cross between some of other rather popular strains, and the effects reflect that. Euphoric and relaxing, good for both wakeful relaxation and getting to sleep, the high is kind of an amalgam of all the positive sensations attributed to cannabis consumption. I wish I had gotten more of this when it was available and will savor the rest of it for a special night and test-drive the concentrate that won it a Cup when I am feeling particularly adventurous.
