Strain name: Papaya Punch

Grown by: Altvm

Acquired from: ElectraLeaf

Date acquired: July 11

THC/CBD percentages:  18.5 percent THC/.11 CBD (per F.A.S.T. Laboratories/Research)

Physical traits: Dense but light buds with dominant green and orange stigmas and a small amount of purple

Bouquet: Sweet and fruity

Review: I picked this one by smell alone. It has the scent of a melon, maybe a cantaloupe. The buds are not densely frosted on the outside, but once you crack it open, the inside glitters and reveals a hint of purple. It is dry throughout but not dried out, and I just pinched my first bowl instead of grinding it. I expected the smoke to be sweeter, but the aftertaste hits and lingers sweetly. This is an indica-dominant cross between Papaya and Purple Punch with genetics from Oni Seed Co., grower Dave Dodson said. The high is deeply chill. I started with three hits, then took another two about 30 minutes later and was solidly calm but not couch-locked. This is a good strain for an after-work smoke that will not put you immediately to bed.

Cannabis effects vary wildly from patient to patient based on a multitude of factors, including THC tolerance, brain chemistry and personal taste. This review is based on the subjective experience of one patient.
