House of Hunan

1316 N. Interstate Drive, Norman

360-7798

After a kitchen fire temporarily shuttered the restaurant last July, Joy Zhao and her husband, Neo Dake Zhang, have reopened their House of Hunan/White Swan in Norman. They are offering authentic cuisine, such as beef with cumin or cilantro chicken. Or, try Ants on a Tree, sweet potato noodles with ground pork. Sure, you can get housemade pot stickers, chicken teriyaki and egg rolls, too.

Smokin’ Okies Catering

Food truck serving Edmond

615-6830

In late February, an
electrical short burned down Smokin’ Okies trailer. But just two weeks
ago, owner Larry Starns opened it up again in a new eye-catching yellow
food truck. He parks the vehicle around Edmond — often at Walgreen’s at
Kelly and Covell — and offers smoked brisket, ribs, pulled pork and
chicken, all smoked in the truck. Check out where the truck will be on
Smokin’ Okies’ website, thesmokinokies.com.
