Stash is a new kid on the block, 1108 N. Classen Blvd., and will offer door prizes from McNellie's Pub. McNellie's will be providing the food and drinks as well. Stash is a gift and novelty shop that features locally, ethically produced goods with a previous location in Norman.
Waffle Champion and Dry/Shop are sharing the hosting duties with giveaways, discount offers and prizes. Waffle Champion will serve whicken and waffles along with beer and wine.
Midtown is also celebrating the opening of the Midtown Mutts Dog Park, just in time for spring. The park is a recreational space for pups and is located at the intersection of W. Park Plave and N. Hudson Avenue.
Artist Desmond Mason, who owns a studio in the Midtown Plaza Court building will be hosting an open house that night to show off his latest work.
To kick things off, McNellie's also will tap a limited-edition keg from Mustang Brewery, Rocket Fuel. It will only be available as long as the keg lasts, so make plans to be there at 6 p.m. and drink before you go eat your weight at the H&8th celebration on Hudson Avenue, downtown between NW Seventh and NW Eighth streets.
