Gamer love

And this is why you should never start dating someone you meet through a video game: Annamay Alexander, a 44-year-old Floridian accused of seducing a 14-year-old Okie and then driving here from the Sunshine State in an attempt to consummate their online love, pleaded guilty last week to a sex charge.

According to a report on NewsOK.com, Alexander and the young man met through a virtual reality game for PlayStation 3. Alexander then allegedly jumped in her car in January 2009 and hit the road for Oklahoma.

But the game was up on Jan. 9, 2009, when the lad's mom awoke to find her son not tucked into bed (and without visions of joysticks dancing in his head). According to NewsOK.com, she texted him to get home, and who should show up with him but Alexander (someone old enough to be his mom)?

Mama told police her kid had a sexual relationship with the Florida gal and that she'd found text messages and a pic of the suspect in her undies on her son's PlayStation. Eek!

According to the report, Alexander is currently sitting in Logan County jail awaiting sentencing. If convicted, she's looking at up to 30 years in the clink for her cross-country lovin', and she'll have to register as a sex offender.
