George Harrison's sister joins Chickasha concert of wanna-be Beatles

Hey, Jude. There's something in the way she moves down in Chickasha.

According to the Chickasha Express-Star, George Harrison's sister, Louise Harrison, visited Chickasha recently to promote a concert by a Beatles tribute band, the Liverpool Legends.

According to the story, Harrison joined the would-be moptops, who were playing a concert at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma's Te Ata Memorial Auditorium.

If it's not surreal enough just for George Harrison's sister to have been in Chickasha, she also apparently talked about the Beatles. All the lonely people had an opportunity to meet her after the concert, too, according to the advance report.

Local concert promoter Bruce McGrew told the newspaper, prior to the event, that: "The Liverpool Legends will feature the early years of The Beatles. "¦ They also do a lot of songs from the later years, even some of their solo material. So to me, the Liverpool show is a "¦ complete tribute.

Add to that a personal visit from Louise Harrison, and this really is the ultimate Beatles tribute."

(Who knew Chickasha had a concert promoter?). Well, at CFN, we think it's been a long, cold, lonely winter, so we say, it's all right.
