How about taxing all religious venues?

Recently, and with much bravado, Rev. Paul Blair stated that he welcomed any challenge to his church's tax-exempt status because of it's political involvement. I say let's grant his wish and set him free, and start taxing his church. Furthermore, while we're at it, let's start taxing all religious venues be they churches, temples, mosques, covens, TV studios, etc. This would allow them to politick as much as they desire.

You can already make religious contributions tax deductible, and the churches pay no taxes, so the only ones who are getting scammed here is the government or "we the people."

It would go a long way toward resolving our budgetary crisis.
