Investigators say ghosts, spirits haunt several Oklahoma locales

The Oklahoma Paranormal Union is an alliance of investigative teams that work together to document the unexplained. They love the thrill of experiencing the paranormal, and Oklahoma is their haunted playground.

One team is the Oklahoma City Ghost Club, whose founder Logan Corelli has accumulated quite the list of spooky spots throughout Oklahoma.

STONE LION INN, GUTHRIE
The 1907 mansion in said to be haunted by a little girl. On one investigation, the playful spirit repeatedly locked Corelli's investigative team inside the house.

"One time, I felt like something was following me throughout the house and I just felt this overwhelming sadness," he said.

FORT RENO, EL RENO
"Fort Reno is one of the highlights of our year," Corelli said. The Oklahoma City Ghost Club leads public tours throughout the year, and this is consistently one of the best.

People report:
" hearing footsteps,
" experiencing odd smells and
" seeing apparitions of a cavalry soldier keeping watch outside the barracks.

THE COUNTY LINE BAR-B-Q, OKLAHOMA CITY
This was the first place that Corelli experienced an apparition after joining an investigative team. Sitting in darkness in the basement, he said a hazy red mist appeared and out of the haze a blue face emerged.

"It was the outline of a face, but you could clearly see facial features " a mustache, a broad forehead " but all with a blue tone," he said. The face floated toward them for a few seconds before disappearing. "Jenny Coon Peterson
