Oklahoma's own BMX superstar Mat Hoffman invites "Jackass" ringleader Johnny Knoxville and several extreme-sports friends over for a "Tribute to Evel Knievel." In order to honor the superstar daredevil who passed away last year, Hoffman and his crew attempt to break a slew of world records on their bikes and motorcycles "? "ghetto-style," says Matt "? and pretty much succeed.
So let the jumping and flipping begin! These guys are fearless, and the proceedings "? edited down to a manageable 47 minutes "? make for an agreeable (and less profane) substitute to tide one over between "Jackass" sequels.
The show culminates in Knoxville's accident in which a motorcycle lands on his crotch and tears his urethra. His trip to a Stillwater hospital comprises one of the disc's numerous special features. Also included: three music videos, bonus footage and more props to Evel.
