Judge issues jail sentence to panty bandit

A teenage panty bandit, sentenced last week in district court, will spend 60 days in jail and complete an Oklahoma Department of Corrections-approved fetish control program.

The final ruling came Oct. 1, Jeremy J. Dula's second court appearance on charges following a 2007 investigation by the Ardmore Police Department, according to a story published in the Daily Ardmoreite.

Judge Tom Walker gave Dula a five-year deferred sentence, but ordered the first 60 days be served in jail. Dula was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service and directed to complete an impulse-disorder program "designed to assist him in controlling fetishism," the Ardmoreite reported.

In December, 2007, Dula was charged with the burglary of an Ardmore home, court records show. Police said Dula " who was 17 at the time " forced open the "doggie door" of the home and unlocked a patio door. Once inside the home, police accused Dula of stealing bras and women's underwear, the Ardmoreite reported.

He was also charged with two counts of knowingly concealing stolen property after he was found in possession of other stolen pairs of women's underwear and bras, the Ardmoreite reported. Dula turned 18 after his arrest and was charged as an adult.
