Juneteenth Celebration

The Society of Urban Poets, Inc. will present a Juneteenth celebration (Jubilee) Sunday, June 14 and Monday, June 15th at the Ralph Ellison Library. There will be a play, Have it Your Way by Spiritually Bold, Inc from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. There will also be a poetry writing excercise for youth ages 6 through 12. There will be food trucks and car show on Sunday. Monday from noon to 3:30 p.m. there will be 3 sermonettes, gospel music and poetry. Food trucks will be available from noon until 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
