• East Oak Landfill, 3201 Mosley;

• Oklahoma City Landfill, 7001 S. Bryant;

• Oklahoma Landfill, 7600 S.W. 15th; and
• Northeast Landfill, 2601 N. Midwest Blvd., Spencer (construction and demolition materials only).

Residents can drop off one load in a car or truck, up to a 1-ton and one trailer. No commercial waste haulers are allowed. Just take a current OKC utility bill (no photocopies accepted) or a printout of an e-bill to prove residency.

Bulk-waste rules and regulations apply. That means no appliances containing Freon or other refrigerants, household hazardous waste, tires, oils, car batteries, propane tanks, pool chemicals or electronic waste.

If some of the stuff you need to get rid of includes archaic computers or cellphones the size of grapefruit, you might want to head to an e-cycling drop-off between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Saturday at State Fair Park, 333 Gordon Cooper. Unlike the free landfill activities, no proof of residency is needed. All you need, in fact, is obsolete or broken electronics.

The kind of stuff acceptable for e-cycling includes:
• computers (CPUs and monitors),
• computer peripherals,
• printers,
• fax machines,
• keyboards,
• photocopiers,
• televisions,
• VCRs,
• stereos,
• home and office phones,
• cellphones, and
• consumer electronics.

The event is sponsored by the City of Oklahoma City, Waste Management Recycle America, LG Electronics and Keep Oklahoma Beautiful.
