I am concerned by the limitation of liquor stores to not be able to sell their merchandise during the same hours bars are able to serve drinks. All bars in this state are able to serve any beverage between the hours of 7 a.m. and 2 a.m. Liquor stores, however, are limited to sales between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

That means liquor stores are missing out on up to eight hours of sales. Not to mention most bars and establishments are open seven days a week, even on holidays, which means liquor stores are missing out on an additional day of sales every week and up to four to five holidays per year.

The amount of revenue and taxes " not to mention the additional staff liquor stores would need to have to cover these extra hours " would be a great boon to the state.

This link gave me the current information on the laws we are governed by (okc.about.com/od/foodanddrink/p/okliquorlaws.htm), and I hope we can find a way to improve the way we manage this business so that all the state can benefit from the changes that need to be made for the state and its citizens.
