Design and dinner dance together Thursday night at a fund-raising event downtown.
The Untitled Gala is an annual fund-raiser for [Artspace] at Untitled, a nonprofit arts organization. The evening begins with a 6 p.m. cocktail reception at the gallery, 1 N.E. Third, which offers attendees an early preview of "Function and Design," an exhibition of furnishings and room settings built and arranged by local artists.
About 7 p.m., gala-goers will be be bussed to the Magnolia Building, 722 N. Broadway, for a dinner party set up on the fifth floor, said development coordinator Autumn Daves.
"We'll have about 800 candles set up and really nice lighting," she said. Modern dancers from the University of Oklahoma will entertain guests, while local jazz outfit Miss Brown to You will perform throughout dinner, she said. A short film on Untitled will follow the meal, along with a brief presentation by newly elected board president Chris Salyer.
