Neighborhood Alliance to host workshops on legal issues and code enforcement 

Neighborhood Alliance of Central Oklahoma workshops in June and July will deal with legal issues affecting mandatory homeowners associations and City of Oklahoma City code enforcement programs.

The "Legal Issues for Homeowners Associations" workshop will be offered twice this year:
" the southern session will be 6:30 p.m. June 15, at Home Creations' Melody Banquet Hall in Moore; and
" the northern session will be presented at 6:30 p.m. July 13, at Pelco Products Inc. in Edmond.

The workshop will discuss covenants, bylaws and amendment procedures. It will include a Q-and-A session with Oklahoma City attorney Matthew Winton, a specialist in community and homeowner association law.

"Code Enforcement 101" will be presented at 6 p.m. June 22 at the MetroTech Springlake Campus. It will focus on Oklahoma City code enforcement programs, the impact of zoning on code enforcement and resources surrounding these issues.
