Norman indie rockers Evangelicals joined several other celebrated indie bands for a tribute to Björk's acclaimed 1995 album "Post," according to the band's Web site.
The band was tapped to record "You've Been Flirting Again" for the song-by-song tribute, which has been released as a free download on an alt-music.
NOTES
In the album's artists' notes, Evangelicals front man Josh Jones points out the mysterious nature of the song and the unclear lyrics.
"Maybe she's trying to tell a dude putting the moves on her to be patient 'cause ya know, she's Björk," Jones wrote, adding that the band's tribute was recorded while imagining the former Sugarcubes vocalist "seething" at her ex while attending an Icelandic party.
