The 57th anniversary of Repeal Day in Oklahoma is Thursday and Craft Brewers Association of Oklahoma (CBAO) marks the occasion with a Legislator Call To Action and Voter Registration Drive at Oak & Ore, 1732 NW 16th St.
Starting 5 p.m. Thursday, the event invites lawmakers and the public to meet, talk and listen to representatives from Oklahoma breweries describe the need for legislative reform for brewery taprooms, raising limits on local beer alcohol content and market access for local breweries.
Oak & Ore will serve Collaboration for Legislation beer, a collaborative brew by the eight core members of CBAO, and all beer sale proceeds support the organizations work.
CBAO members involved in Collaboration for Legislation are 405 Brewing, Anthem Brewing, Choc Brewing, COOP Ale Works, Iron Monk Brewing, Marshall Brewing, Prairie Artisan Ales and Renaissance Brewing.
Unregistered voters will be able to register at the event.
