" Oklahoma City and

" Yukon.

These were followed by speakers and presentations celebrating the day.

NATIONAL CAMPAIGN

Bike to Work Day is part of a national campaign trying to get people to use this two-wheeled means of transportation as a healthy, efficient alternative to their usual motor vehicles. It is also used to promote safety awareness among bicyclists and motorists.

Since 1956, the month of May has been recognized by The League of American Bicyclists as National Bike to Work Month.
