If you’ve got a hankering for tacos or burritos that are muy authentico, make a stop at this new spot. Not in the mood for traditional Mexican fare? Opt for the corn dog. It stays open until 9 p.m., so this taqueria is the perfect option for a late and yummy dinner. Take note that the place is closed Tuesdays.

Gogo Sushi Express and Grill

A sushi spot in Midtown? OK! Based on the success of its first location in Moore, GoGo Sushi opened another store and is faring quite well. All the usual suspects are on the menu, from bento boxes to sashimi and nigiri. Get your order to-go or stay in and eat. The iced water has strawberries and other fruit in it for a nice, refreshing treat.

Just up and rolling … literally! The truck serves up hot dogs, brats or smoked sausage with all the fixings. Steveo’s most popular links, Italian and pepperoni sausages, are served with marinara, mozzarella, onions and peppers. There’s even an andouille dog for the Cajun at heart. Most days, Steveo’s food truck can be found at S.E. 149th Street and S. Sooner Road.

Like its page on Facebook to know where the truck will be every day. It
moves around quite a bit, but offers the same great menu in all
locations. For breakfast, try the roll with sausage or bacon. The
original has seasoned ground turkey and shredded cabbage, or go veggie
with cabbage, carrots, onions and bell peppers. It’s a simple menu
that’s full of flavor!

Gary Dale’s

lunch and until 9 p.m. for dinner, Gary Dale’s has long been a staple in
Oklahoma. This new location will be serving the same good home-cooking,
including the restaurant’s famous barbecue. Every Tuesday is
allyou-can-eat catfish from 5 to 9 p.m. There’s always a daily special,
and most Fridays there’s a bluegrass band that performs during dinner.

lunch-break respite? Try this Zen-inspired lounge that offers one of the

serving breakfast, lunch and dinner every day except Sunday, this little
diner epitomizes oldfashioned home cooking. Beginning this week, it
will open up for Sunday lunch. Pam Taylor, proprietor and executive
chef, said the most popular dish is her apple-brine pork tenderloin. And
don’t neglect dessert: She makes gourmet cupcakes and cherry-cheesecake
brownies from scratch.
