Evelyn’s Asian Table

5934 N.W. 122nd

728-1949

Don’t
be fooled by the Golden Dragon sign displayed on the building. Chef
Evelyn grew up in the Philippines, with stints in Malaysia, and her menu
reflects those countries, as well as Thailand, China and Korea. Start
with fried tofu ($3.95 for five) or lumpia, the snack similar to a
Chinese spring roll ($2 for two). Try the basil pork ($7.95) and
Evelyn’s curry beef ($8.95); on the Filipino side of things, you won’t
want to miss the pancit bihon ($5.50-$6.50), a traditional rice-noodle
dish.

Worth, Texas. Chips and queso ($2.99) to start, followed by Baja tacos
($1.99 each) topped with lettuce, tomatoes, cilantro, feta and garlic
sauce, as well as fish, shrimp, ground or shredded beef or pork, chicken
or veggie. Get a jumbo burrito ($5.49), or keep it healthy with a salad
($5.49-$6.99). Like Fuzzy’s on Facebook for specials and Thunder

Iguana Cafe

6482 Avondale Drive

608-0600

The
original Iguana Lounge was located on N. Western Avenue years ago, and
now the concept is returning to Nichols Hills with Iguana Cafe, a more
intimate version of downtown’s Iguana Mexican Grill. The cafe will have a
limited menu, but still offers the same spectacular tacos ($7.95 for
one large flour or two crispy and a side), burritos ($8.95 for one of
your choice and a side) and salsas ($1.50- $5) everyone has grown to
love, as well as five dinner specials a night. Try the Key Lime pie or
flan ($5) for dessert.

Asian Taste Chinese Japanese Restaurant

2035 S. Meridian

604-3399

Take
your pick between the Chinese or Japanese menu. Enjoy its steamed or
fried dumplings ($5.25 for five) or teriyaki chicken sticks ($4.75), as
well as hot-andsour soup ($2.45). The Singapore chow mai fun ($8.25)
will satisfy your need for heat, or go with the house special, chow mein
($7.95), for a milder option. If you’re ordering for the whole family,
the meal deals have you covered. With packages suited for two to eight
people, each comes with egg rolls, rice, soup, entrées and sushi rolls.
That’s a lot of food at a great price!

Sandro’s Pizza and Pasta

914 W. main, Norman

701-8822

Not
new, but improved and twice the size! Sandro’s has expanded and added
more seating, as well as a bar. Pizza by the slice ($2.50-$3.75) draws
in quite the lunch crowd, and now there’s plenty of room to sit down and
enjoy the meal. Feeding the whole family? The family calzone ($14.95)
feeds about four and is packed with cheese and sausage. Sub sandwiches
($5.50-$6.50) come hot or cold, from roast beef to eggplant parmigiana.
Get a house salad ($2-$3) to add some fresh greens to your meal.

The Ceviche House

5805 N.W. 50th, Warr Acres

470-0998

Hankering
for Peruvian cuisine? There’s new spot serving up just that. The walls
are colorful, the music is lively and the smell alone is enough to draw
you in. Start with botana ($4.99) (a snack of grilled peppers, onions,
potatoes, avocados and tomatoes) before trying something from the
“mariscos” section of the menu. There you’ll find all things seafood.
Order the cook-recommended ceviche al pescado ($11.99), fresh and
flavorful platter of fish marinated in lime juice, or mejillones al pico
($10.99), mussels with pico de gallo.
