Everyone wants to find a way to make it into the Guinness book of world records. Ashrita Furman reportedly has the record for most deep knee bends in one minute while standing on a Swiss ball (it's 30, if you really want to know).
Suresh Joachim holds the record for the longest time spent ironing clothes: 55 hours and five minutes. He also may have set the record for burning oneself the most times. Still checking on that one.

A February attempt at global dominance in a pipe-cleaner chain by The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center and The Jimmy Everest Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders in Children officially has been declared a Guinness World Record.
On Valentine's Day, pipe cleaners bent into the shape of hearts and linked to one another measured 10,459 feet " or nearly two miles " enough to circle the hospital an estimated six full times.
"I am, of course, proud for the patients to receive the official Guinness World Record certificate stating they established a world record," said Everest volunteer and attempt organizer Kay Tangner, in a release. "The patients will have a happy memory amongst a not-so-good circumstance and can say, 'Yes, I was part of setting the Guinness record for the longest heart pipe-cleaner chain back in 2007 on Valentine's Day, the coldest day of the year.'"
This new record begs a question: There was already a pipe-cleaner-chain record to be broken?
