Randy Entz, transportation planner for the Oklahoma City Planning Department, will discuss sidewalks and trails that are being paid for by a recent bond issue and out of the MAPS 3 program, which sets aside $10 million for new sidewalks and $40 million for new trails.

“It’s a good way for people to get an update of what’s going on in the city, especially what people are getting from MAPS,” Entz said.

Also during the meeting, Jennifer Gooden, director of the city’s sustainability office, will speak about the city’s future bike share program that will be started this year in downtown. Additional presentations will focus on the 2035 Regional Trail Plan and bike safety as it relates to Project 180.

Immediately afterward, cycling enthusiasts at the meeting will participate in a ride through downtown, Entz said.
