Red Dust Oklahoma: A Poetic History exhibition opening

Red Dust Oklahoma: A Poetic History describes a “complex, vibrant Oklahoma previously unimagined” through the poetry and poets in Oklahoma from pre-statehood to 1941. The exhibition, curated by Todd Fuller and Crag Hill, opens with a reception at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 9, in the Western History Collections Reading Room, followed by a poetry reading of 19 of the poems on display at 7 p.m. in Oklahoma Memorial Union, 900 Asp Ave. The exhibition is sponsored by the Mark Allen Everett Poetry Series, the OU Libraries, the College of Arts and Sciences and the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education.
