Rose State College seeks aid for wildfire victims

Rose State College in Midwest City will be accepting donations for wildfire victims.

"Our hearts go out to the community we serve, to those who are injured or who lost homes in this fire. We are trying to locate and help any faculty, staff or students whose lives are affected by this tragedy," Terry Britton, Rose State College president, said. "The Student Senate wants to help, also, and will be taking cash and clothing donations at the Student Activities Office in the Student Center.  Once we have responded to the needs of faculty/staff and students any remaining resources will go to the Midwest City branch of the Red Cross."   

The Rose State Student Senate will accept the donations.

Requested items include:

Financial contributions Clothing items Toiletry items Baby items (food, diapers, wipes, etc.) Non-perishable food items and bottled water

All donations should be taken to the Student Activities office located in the Student Center across from the Rose Caf
