Dan O’Brien’s Grill & Pub
2747 W. Memorial

Just in time for St. Patty’s Day. Dan O’Brien’s is not new, but it has moved its operation just down the street a bit to new digs. The menu goes something like this: grilled cheese, hot ham and cheese, fish and chips, a cold turkey and Swiss and chicken tenders. You can pretend that you are across the pond in an Irish pub.

Having
moved into China Capital’s old stomping ground at the first of the
year, Golden House continues to draw on flavors from China and Vietnam.
Try its sweet-and-sour chicken or pork, Hawaiian chicken, beef and
broccoli, honey chicken or traditional Vietnamese noodle soup. It has an
awfully happy dessert menu, too. All sweets are made at the restaurant,
from banana pudding to a Vietnamese black-eyed pea dessert with sweet
beans topped with coconut.
