This short vampire comedy could be called "Looking for Raimi," as it borrows heavily and unsuccessfully from the tone of "Evil Dead II," with globs of Sergio Leone, Edgar Wright and John Carpenter blended in, as well. When vampires rule the earth, they keep humans chained as sanguinary lunch pails on legs. This is the story of one human who escapes. Levi Lee is the one-man studio responsible for this thing "? director, writer, editor, star "? and, frankly, if he can do any of these things well, he should, because he's pretty lame at doing them all at once.
