Tabloid heaven?

Bennifer? Brangelina? Well,
there’s a new couple in town. They’re Oklahoma residents, and the
gossip hounds just can’t get enough of ‘em.

We’re talking about Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.

The rumors circulating about their relationship are numerous and cover everything from infidelity to frenemies.

According to the National Enquirer, , they are only together for 50 days out of the year, which everyone seems to take as a sign that something is going sour.

Star magazine
has reported that Lambert is upset about Shelton’s friendship with
Sheryl Crow, claiming that “Sheryl’s been texting and calling Blake
during off-hours, and Miranda is extremely annoyed.” Infidelity rumors
covered in National Enquirer and Life & Style entail singers Shakira and Cady Groves. The Enquirer has
also alleged that Lambert is jealous of Shelton’s bromance with Adam
Levine because of the latter’s penchant for crazy parties with scantily
clad models. And Hollywood Life breathlessly reports that Shelton
and Lambert “are preparing to be first-time parents!” Despite the swell
of accusations and suppositions, the couple remains adamant that
everything is copacetic.

rumors can wear you down, even good-looking country superstars. Earlier
this month, Shelton took to Twitter to vent: “Just reading up on my
summer schedule in the tabloids. I wonder if they saw the day I had
marked off that they can blow me...?” Chicken-Fried News doesn’t think
he meant it in a sexy way, either.

On a decidedly more heartfelt note, the couple paid special tribute May 21 to Oklahoma tornado victims on TV’s The Voice. They
performed a duet version of Lambert’s song “Over You” and urged that
disaster donations be made to American Red Cross. We might have teared
up a little. And maybe watched it three times on the DVR. And maybe
cried a little more.

And that just leaves us with the burning question of what to call the most popular Paparazzi targets in Tishomingo. Blaranda? Mirake? How about Shelbert?

Good luck, Shelbert! And thanks for loving and supporting Oklahoma!
