But not. Local superstar couple nearly broke the Internet with the announcement that he and wife Trisha Yearwood were packing up and moving to the big city. According to a report from CMT, the couple will officially have an empty nest in Owasso, Okla. when their youngest leaves for college in the fall, and they are “ready to do the next thing.” said Yearwood.
I guess we’re like the kids of divorce. They were just staying with us for the kids, and now that they’re grown, it’s so long, Oklahoma.
But wait! In response to the outcry generated by the public (read: the citizens of Oklahoma who were outraged
by the royal couple’s disloyalty), the couple clarified that they’re not
really-forreal moving to Nashville, just kind of moving to Nashville.
“We’ve been going back and forth to Nashville for the 12 years we’ve lived in Oklahoma.” Yearwood told The Tulsa World.
So don’t get twisted quite yet.
They’re only buying a house there, but they’ll still spend quality time here in Oklahoma when they’re not in Nashville.
