Forty-five percent of responding CFOs believe the economy will improve over the next six months, which is up from only 30 percent half a year ago. While hiring currently remains tepid, 36 percent of CFOs said they intended on increasing head count at their firm (up from 24 percent six months earlier), and exactly half are optimistic about their own companys financial prospects (up from 36 percent).
