We’re No. 49!

According to a Gallup poll, Oklahomans are only slightly less unhappy than Louisiana residents.

Oklahoma ranked No. 49 on the list of The Happiest States in America.

The
poll was based on “life evaluation, emotional health, work environment,
physical health, healthy behaviors and access to basic necessities,”
reported Business Insider. We guess perpetually being one of the fattest
states full of couch potatoes who don’t walk anywhere and having a high
rate of domestic abuse doesn’t promote healthy, happy lifestyles. Go
figure.

Somehow, North Dakota ranked No. 1
over even Hawaii, which dropped to No. 8. The top five happiest states
were North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota and Montana. Maybe
cold and snow have just gotten bad reps and they really makes you happy.
Maybe.

Louisiana was ranked most unhappy.
