The Huffington Post reported that years ago, when Amy Grant and her husband, Vince Gill, a graduate of OKC’s Northwest Classen High School and Oklahoma native, appeared on Today, Lauer’s attention was unwittingly pulled away from Grant’s performance
and instead landed on a particularly “voluptuous” backup singer.
He
quickly realized Gill was also looking at the woman, went up behind him
and said, “I know. Are those things real?” Lauer quoted Gill’s retort:
“They better be real. That’s my daughter.”
Way to come clean, Lauer. Maybe you’ll think twice next time about ogling women on live TV.
