Kolliopoulos,
along with several others, gave this town a flavor and spirit that can
never be equaled. A lot of musicians like myself were given the spark to
go out in that cruel world and try and earn a living playing music
because of him. The scene he was a part of on Western Avenue through the
’80s and ’90s kept that street alive with music and art. Don’t let
anybody tell you different.
Basile, John Manson, Jon Mooneyham, Latina Best, Jeff Beck and many others kept that street alive. Show some respect!
