Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center has announced the individuals and organizations it will honor at its 2026 Founders Day celebration, set for Thursday, March 26. The annual event recognizes leaders whose support and vision have helped shape Oklahoma’s arts and cultural landscape while expanding access to creative opportunities statewide.

This year’s honorees include Governor Bill Anoatubby; J. Clifford and Leslie Hudson; Randy Marks; G. Patrick Riley; and the E. L. and Thelma Gaylord Foundation.

Originally founded in 1989 as City Arts Center, Oklahoma Contemporary has evolved into a multidisciplinary arts hub offering free admission to exhibitions, extensive education programming and community-focused initiatives. Founders Day highlights those whose commitment has helped sustain that mission and ensure the arts remain accessible to the public.

The 2026 celebration also features a $75,000 matching gift opportunity provided by a group of Oklahoma Contemporary supporters. Donations made in honor of the honorees will be matched dollar-for-dollar through March 26, with funds supporting exhibitions, education programs and continued free access to the arts.
