Myriad Botanical Gardens is filling the Crystal Bridge Conservatory with color, fragrance and romance this winter. Love Takes Root: An Orchid Engagement opens Friday, Jan. 16, and runs through March 1, featuring more than 800 orchids arranged throughout the tropical conservatory.
Set against the lush greenery of the Crystal Bridge, the exhibition celebrates orchids as enduring symbols of love, beauty and elegance. Long associated with romance across cultures, orchids are known for their intricate shapes, vivid colors and exotic appeal — all on full display in this seasonal show.
New this year are several romantic photo backdrops, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to capture the moment among the blooms.
