PRESS RELEASE Hideaway Pizza Launches Home Film Contest

Need something fun to do? Put your creative juices to work and submit an entry or two in Hideaway’s Inaugural Home Film Festival!

Write a script, grab your cell phones, and get filming! Include Hideaway Pizza somehow in your video (we know you’ve got a stash of Hideaway cups, a tee shirt or last nights’ To Go box hanging around) and you’ll be on your way to fame and fortune!

Hideaway Pizza will be awarding free pizza for a year and other prizes to those who enter by posting their creative videos to social media and tagging the company.

“We know there are plenty of people out there in need of things to keep them occupied at this time. We wanted to give them some fun things to do that they can do alone or with the others they are staying at home with so no one goes too stir crazy,” Janie Harris, marketing director.

“We have other fun ideas we are rolling out on social media this week as well, just so people, especially with children at home, can stay busy and have fun at the same time,” Harris said.

“We are all in this together, and our guests need to know we are here for them in whatever way we can be, whether that is providing carryout service at our restaurants or giving them something entertaining and family friendly to do,” Harris said.

Upload the video onto Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram with #HideawayFilmFestival by midnight Tuesday. March 31st to be eligible to win:

Judging will be done by a panel of Certified Pizza Experts/Cinephiles/Creative Professionals and based on creativity and clarity of audio, message or story.
