If your weekend plans need a spark of creativity, make your way to 1515 Lincoln Gallery on Saturday, November 15. The historic house-turned-gallery will be alive with art and conversation during a day that features two local talents: ceramic artist Roger Runge and painter Nathan Lee.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Roger Runge takes over the gallery with a pop-up show of his signature “silly pots” — whimsical porcelain creations detailed with leaves, stones, and flashes of 24K gold. Each one feels like a small story in clay, full of humor and grace. Runge, who works out of The Studios at Oklahoma Contemporary, has spent decades shaping not just clay, but Oklahoma’s creative community.
Over in the gallery’s studio space, Nathan Lee, current Artist in Residence, will host a Studio Tour from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Lee’s vibrant, expressive paintings explore identity and culture, reflecting his longtime commitment to inclusion and representation in the arts. He’s a founding member of Inclusion in Art and co-producer of TRANSCEND, a film spotlighting Oklahoma’s Black creative movement.

Studio tours happen every fifteen minutes and fill up fast — call 405-593-1063 or email info@1515lg.com to reserve a time.
Nestled between the State Capitol and the Innovation District, 1515 Lincoln Gallery is a hub for art, food, and community. With more than 50 artists represented, a cozy bistro serving lunch and wine, and live music that fills the air, it’s one of those places that makes Oklahoma City’s art scene feel personal and alive.
